Travel Brochures 1936 Baden Black Forest
Item: GM776

You are purchasing two original 1930's travel brochures for the Baden and Black Forest region of Germany.  They were printed in Germany by the RDV, "Reichsbahnzentrale fur den Deutschen Reiseverkehr" to promote tourism in Germany.  One has English, one is with German text.  Both give similar information about the region.  Both brochures have an advertisement for the 1936 Olympic games on the back side of the front cover and pull-out maps in the back. These give a great inside view of Germany just a few years before the out break of war.  Brochures are folded properly.  They are in excellent condition.  These are from a collection of maps, brochures, and translation guides I acquired from the estate of a WWII army officer who was a linguist during the war.  All of the collection has been in storage since 1946.
